Bubbsi Coconut Oil Balm Review 2023 | Natural, Organic Baby Moisturizer and Balm

Bubbsi Coconut Oil Balm Review 2023 | Natural, Organic Baby Moisturizer and Balm

We tried Bubbsi’s Coconut Oil Balm for 2 months, and here’s what we thought…

The Top Line: GREAT buy! Bubbsi’s Coconut Oil Balm is our go-to baby balm, particularly helpful in the winter (we’re in New England) when the heat is on and our baby’s skin would stay chapped no matter what kind of lotion we used. We found this to be the most effective in combination with a humidifier. We like the solid form factor and found that a very little bit goes a long way. We also love to use this for baby massages. Appreciate the clean ingredients and refillable tub. It’s a buy!

The Breakdown:

  • Cost & Products: $24 for 5oz tub on Bubbsi website.

  • How ‘Clean’ Is This? Kid-friendly, 100% naturally derived ingredients, with a light all-natural coconut & vanilla scent. Free of parabens, pthalates, sulfates, mineral oils and dyes. Refillable tub.

  • Packaging: Shipped in cardboard materials.

  • Purchasing & Shipping: I purchased on Bubbsi’s website.

  • Good to know: There’s a lot of uses for this balm —soothes dry skin, diaper cream, cradle cap, baby massages, and we even use it as baby hair pomade

  • What’s Your Impact? We appreciate the refillable tub container, and that is is shipped in paper cardboard materials.

The Experience

Context: Our toddler gets really bad chapped skin in the winter (almost looks like a rash), and we tried a lot of different things that didn’t seem to keep his skin moisturized long enough to allow his skin to heal, so we were very interested to try Bubbsi’s Coconut Oil Balm:

  • Quick and easy to get this on skin (solid balm makes it less messy)

  • Our toddler likes trying to put some on himself!

  • Light coconut/vanilla scent that’s cozy

  • It’s made a huge difference in our toddler’s skin, especially in combination with a humidifier

  • We love that it’s refillable

Overall, very happy with the experience!

The Cost

We compared Bubbsi’s Coconut Oil Balm with other baby balms out there, and found the price to be very reasonable, particularly if you buy the refill.

Money Report: No complaints on pricing —- and it’s a fantastic product!

The Good:

100% naturally derived, vegan formula

Light all-natural scent: Coconut, vanilla

One tub lasts a looong time — we used this most in the winter when our baby’s skin was prone to chapping and irritation

No parabens, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oils, or dyes

Allergy, Dermatologist & Pediatrician Tested

✔ Love that it comes in refill format

✔ Awesome for baby massages and as a hair pomade (our baby’s hair can get long in between haircuts and gets in his eyes sometimes)!

The Bad:

Zero complaints here!
